Excavation to 1st level strut has been completed and bracket fixing work is in progress at Egmore underground station. The shaft will be receiving the TBMs coming from Nehru Park.
There is seamless connection as the passengers can take the Foot Overbridge over the suburban lines and walk down INTO the entrance exit to the Egmore metro within 25 m.
I think that it may become a good progress in the work .
