As soon as she entered this industry, she conquered the hearts of all Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada people, then she conquered Nagarjuna’s heart and married him. She left this film industry in 1992, her marriage with Nagarjuna being the lone reason for this exit. This evergreen star Amala is coming back to her old ways – acting, after a long gap of 20 years.

The film “Life is Beautiful” which is being directed by one of the most renowned director Sekar Kammula is the one which has given a re-entry for Amala. “In this 20 years gap, I received a lot of offers from both Tamil and Telugu industry asking me to act in their film. Somehow, till now I did not even have an idea of making a comeback. Might be the responsibility of my family, and the responsibility of growing up our son Akhil properly with great care was the reason why I stood away from acting and not getting an idea of making a comeback. Now Akhil is a matured guy and is now capable of taking care of himself. I liked the story and the character in this film. That is the reason I acted in this film and I am not sure if I will continue with acting” says Amala.
The audio release function of this film which is to be released on 15th of August took place in Hyderabad recently. Amala’s husband Nagarjuna who took part in this function said that, “If I would have known that Amala is gonna take up the role of heroine’s mother while she accepted to act in this movie, I would have definitely stopped her from it. My Amala is still young to take up such character. In this movie she does not look like the heroine’s mother, instead, she is looking like her sister as she is so young”. He got the applause of the whole crowd by saying this.
