‘South Scope’, a popular filmy magazine, recently hosted an awards ceremony in which Prabhudeva and Nayantara, who have been in the eye of a raging controversy, took part as a ‘couple’. Much to the surprise of many participants, Prabhy-Nayan won the best ‘couple’ award, an award which is usually given only to ‘legally’ wedded couples.
Ramalat, the beleaguered wife of Prabhu deva, has complained against ‘South Scope’ too in her petition filed with the Family Court in Chennai. She has reportedly asked the Court to decide as to whether the magazine was morally right in choosing Prabhy and Nayan for the ‘best couple’ award.
Ramalat’s advocate has even told her that she had the ‘legal right’ to file a case even against the journal, if she wanted to. It won’t, therefore, be a surprise if Ramalat shoots off a legal notice to the journal in the near future. Meanwhile, a ‘woman’ politician who has been on top in (central) politics has reportedly taken up the case in her hands.
The politician is likely to defend Prabhu deva’s case. Those who are aware of the identity of the woman in question say that Ramalat’s case would now become a hopeless one.
