Reports emanating from Kollywood suggest that Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, who had previously agreed to play a significant role in actor Aji’t upcoming landmark 50th film ‘Mangkatha’, has now opted out of the film. Another report say that the Telugu superstar had in fact been left out of the film by director Venkat Prabhu.
The shooting of the first schedule of the film is over and the second schedule would soon be commencing. The reports also added that ‘action king’ Arjun, whose latest film titled ‘Vallakkottai’ has been doing reasonably well at the box-office, has been drafted in as the replacement for Nagarjuna. It is also said that Sneha would also be part of the film.
Sneha had starred as Ajit’s heroine in a forgettable ‘Jana’ a few years back. This would be the second time she would be starring along side Ajit in ‘Mangkatha’, which is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri (who got married today) with a huge budget. Trisha plays Ajit’s love interest in the film which also stars Laxmi Rai & Vedhika.
A duet between Ajith & Trisha and the actor’s introduction song sequence was filmed in Bangkok recently. A source close to the bearded Venkat Prabhu has said that the crew would soon be leaving for an undisclosed location to commence the shooting of the second schedule of the film.
